Walgreens Sale

Much thanks to Lynn at Maven of Savin’ for helping with Walgreens this week. I was going to work on them but she had them posted already. I’ll just share a few highlights with you this week.

I have posted the February Walgreens Instant Value Coupon (IVC) Booklet. Just press Ctrl+F to search the complete IVC list here. It is sorted alphabetically so you can quickly see if a store coupon can be stacked with a manufacturer coupon.

Can I use two (2) of the same RR like the $5 theraflu from this week in one transaction if I’m going to purchase four items. Is it okay to have more than one of the same from a weekly deal? Unlike CVS, walgreens does not say one per household- it said “limit 1 coupon printed per offer. Has anyone ever done this?

Cindy, it is fine to use as many RR’s as you want in a transaction. You just have to ensure that you have as many items as you have coupons/RR’s. Walgreens views RR’s as coupons as they have a 1:1 ratio with products. So, if you’re buy 5 products, you have 3 coupons + 2 RR’s, you would be fine (that’s 5 total coupons).

Also, I just want to make sure you also knew that you cannot use an RR you earned from Theraflu, for example, to purchase additional Theraflu. The RR on the new Theraflu purchase will not print. You can use the RR to pay for it, but you just won’t get another RR back for that Theraflu purchase.
