Have you ever felt like you just don’t deserve a blessing? It’s not even that someone is trying to do something for you, necessarily. It’s a blessing straight from God, and you wonder why He has chosen you to receive it?

I feel that way right now.

The devil has been hard at work in our lives in so many ways over the past several months. It’s totally obvious it’s the evil serpent trying to slither into a crack with all of our relationships. He wants to beat us down spirtually. Unlucky for him, God built me with a strong will so he’s not going to get through.

But the slither of his words do get in.

When I realize this is happening, I focus on the Word. I meditate on praise and worship songs. But above all, I praise God in THIS storm. There will be many, many more in our lives. It’s a matter of how we choose to handle this, I know for sure.

It’s how we choose to allow God to handle this. THAT is the only thing that I am truly sure of.

It’s not about me, it’s about Him.
