I haven’t posted in a while, and I think the fact that this song is my choice is no surprise.
I heard Christy Nockels sing this during the Mops Convention last year. I was touched. She shared the explanation behind the song about how, as a mother, she was pulled in many different directions yet she truly yearned to keep God first. She had to choose since distractions can get you off course.
This song really is the scripture with a beautiful voice. I feel calm when I meditate on His words. And, this song is one that makes you stop in your tracks and realize why you are choosing what you are doing…at least for me.
I constantly choose…or sometimes I consciously just don’t make the choice to make him the Master Scheduler for my day. I don’t regret a lot in my life, but I DO regret when I don’t allow him to take the reigns over my day. I know things turn out so much better when He controls it. My outlook is more positive. And, if the day isn’t turning out that great, at least I know I made the choice to start it off and have Him be my pilot. The turbulence is still there, but it’s not as noticeable.

I have found that when God is first in our everyday lives we are much better the person for it. If you continue to put God first, especially by sharing him with others you will prosper, and your blog will continue to grow!!! I know that I sometimes don’t put him first, mostly out of being rushed to do this or that. I have a lot on my plate, but I should always remember who is first. It is the I AM of my life. My SAVIOUR, my REDEEMER, KING of KINGS, and LORD of LORDS. Thank you so much for reminding what truly matters in life. May God bless you this day.
