Well, starting back into posting again. Slowly but surely. While I did take time off from posting here daily, I was not off by ANY means. There are SO many behind the scenes things that happen to maintain a blog. Sometimes I never get time to sit and think about “stuff” or make things pretty on the actual site. I got to do a little bit of that. Plus, I had a lot of work to do on other projects I have been furiously working on.
All fun stuff for sure!
I realized that I have never officially put a call out for people who have ideas they would like to post and share with savingslifestyle.com readers. So, I’m making it official now! If you have posts you would like to contribute, I would love to hear from you. I am looking for topics primarily in the following areas:
That is certainly not all inclusive, but it gives you an idea. And, if you have another suggestion just let me know. We can figure out if it makes sense here. Also, I know many of my loyal readers are not bloggers, I WANT to hear from you too! I remember when I started to “extreme” coupon and I would share it with others who are older than me. They looked at me like it was “old news.” I would just say “Where were you when I needed this information.” I am convinced there is always something people can share to help others! Of course, bloggers are amazing resources too so if you blog and have ideas, I’d love to highlight you too!
Finally, the area I want to do more of is to hear YOUR savings stories. Do you want to share how you started couponing and how it’s helped – how you have blessed others, even? Are you working your way out of debt (like us)? I’d love to spotlight you and have you share your story.
I relate to “real” people because we’ve likely been through similar struggles. Your personal story can – and is – an encouragement to so many, and I’d love to share it. Actually, that’s part of why I ask more personal questions in my giveaways. I love to hear more from you since I know giveaways get you to comment :) So, if that’s how I hear that you are lounging and watching a movie this week, then that’s what I’ll do! I am OVERJOYED to hear about the new spinach salad at Bob Evans…WHY? Because I am a vegan and it is SO hard to find menu items I can eat at certain restaurants. I try NOT to eat eggs, but when I go out to lunch @ B Evans w/friends I have to get the egg omelet and a side of broccoli. This spinach salad will be something I can have finally that is another healthy choice! Thanks for letting me know!
One of my favorite meals at Bob Evans is the turkey dinner. It’s like having Thanksgiving all over again. I also love their cole slaw.
This isn’t really a post, but Staples is starting their .01 sale this Sat through Wed. and they have a lot of 1.00 items as well. Great deal for those homeschooling or just stocking up.
Went to Krogers an in front of the Kraft cheese that is on sale for 1.88 in there mega sale there are coupons for 1.00 off two bags I got 10 bags used 5 coupons total was 13.28 plus I got 5.00 Catalina to use on my next purchase. 10 bags of Kraft cheese for 8.28 GREAT DEAL!!!!!!
