Terri left a comment about the cereals included in this week’s Kellogg’s promotion. Since I went last night, I got a list for all ya’ll so I thought I would do a post to share with everyone in case you didn’t check the Kroger post again (which you totally should because people leave deals/chat in the comments all the time).

Again, here are the details on the promotion:

Andrea, I did this deal yesterday as well. However, the only cereals that will qualify for BOTH offers are:
Apple Jacks, Frosted Flakes, Fruit Loops, Corn Pops, Cocoa Krispies, & Honey Smacks
The others are on sale, but not part of the Catalina deal. I only got a $1 Catalina last night, not realizing that the Raisin Bran and Mini Wheats were not included!
But, I still got FREE milk!

the kellog fiber plus bars are also included in the buy four and get 2 gallons of milk free. I had four .75 cent coupons for them and ended up with 2 gallons of milk and four boxes of the fiber bars for $6!

I cannot verify personally, but I have read on other sites that the Catalina is only good on Apple Jacks, Froot Loops, Corn Pops, Cocoa Krispies, and Honey Smacks (10 oz or larger). So while other may be include din teh Kroger sale/milk promo, they aren’t necessarily in the cat promo.

Nikki – that is RIGHT (I even had it listed on the Catalina page)! I didn’t even realize I didn’t get those flavors. Makes sense why it didn’t print.

Thanks, Andrea! I’m sending my husband to get some cereal (which is a little scary!), so I wanted to send him with a good list!

So spell this out for a novice…You have to buy the cereal and then you get a catalina for the 2 gallons of milk? I TOTALLY would have bought all the cereal and the milk and expected it to be free…

Jennifer, the milk is instantly free. The Catalina is what prints just for buying the cereal. So you are spending $7 OOP but get that $3 Catalina with your receipt. HTH!

Something to watch out for on the catalina…Corn Flakes, Crispix, Frosted Mini Wheats, and Rice Krispies are part of the free milk promotion, but not part of the Catalina list of products. If you want to combine both, you need to carefully compare the milk promotion list and the catalina list.

Also, I have an email address for submitting failed catalina prints. Use coupon @ catalinamarketing.com and include your mailing info, store name and address, date and time shopped, and offer expecting to receive. I tried this method recently and got my coupon in the mail less than a week later.

I waited for mine and it didn’t print either just 10 minutes ago–I came home and went straight back to my computer to see if I did something wrong. hmmmm….

Maybe I didn’t buy the right kinds of Kellogg’s cereal.

I went to Kroger and they said that the deal starts on Friday for the Catalina

Ps- I’m sitting here with Jenny from Mommin’ it Up and she says – HI!

Amy, really? The Cat I got said it ends on 3/10. Hmm…… Squeeze Jenny for me!

Keep an eye out for blinkies in your stores as well! Mine had $1.00/2 blinkies for Froot Loops, Apple Jacks, and/or Corn Pops! Not as good as the $1.50/2 printables – but better than nothing :-)

Amber, I meant to put that too. Our store had $1/2 Blinkies too!!

I did this tonight! Bought 4 boxes of Frosted Mini Wheats (including one Chocolate!) and had $1.50/2 and $2.00/2 coupons. So $6.50 for 4 boxes of cereal and 2 gallons of milk! Nice. :)

does this roll? yes, we easily would go thru 4 gallons of milk!

    • Andrea Deckard - February 24, 2010 @ 4:35 pm
      12.1

Peterpan, there is a limit of 2 Gallons of milk per transaction so you would need to do separate transactions. It’s so funny because these two gallons I received will probably last us a month! We don’t drink much milk.

I am so bummed! I though that it was only 1 gallon of milk free! I guess I should have read it closer! :)

    Is this catalina deal rolling?

    • Andrea Deckard - February 27, 2010 @ 11:40 am
      14.1

Jamel, yes you can roll too. Catalinas at grocery stores typically roll. If for some reason they wouldn’t, I would note that. Of course, the Walgreens RRs don’t roll on the same type of product.

Also, does this catalina give $4 back or $3?

    • Andrea Deckard - February 27, 2010 @ 11:40 am
      15.1

Jamel, both. If you buy 4 boxes, you receive a $3 Catalina. If you purchase 5 or more, you receive back a $4 Catalina. HTH!

Are there limits on the catalinas? I went back for the third time and it didn’t print one up. I asked and the cashier said, maybe it’s linked to my Kroger card?

    • Andrea Deckard - February 27, 2010 @ 11:51 pm
      16.1

Lisa, there aren’t any limits. Catalinas are usually based on manufacturer promotions not store specifics. The Kellogg’s Catalina was definitely based on manufacturer requirements (i.e., buy 4 get $3) so it should have printed for you again.
