I was an exclusive Tide detergent user until a few months ago when I bought a couple Green Works (with cpn and cat only $1.), and also a couple All (also w/cpn was $1 or 2). I still admit I only use these on “select” loads, definitely trusting my liquid Tide with the most important and dirtiest stuff, and will continue to “stockpile Tide when I can get it reasonably. How do you all like Purex? I think you are also a Tide user, just wonder what you all think. The price is tempting, but if clothes don’t come clean there is a loss not a savings! Any other Tide lovers opinion?? I told P&G in a comment that they HAVE to keep cpns and sales coming to keep their customers, espec. with today’s economy!!
Kathy, I am a “use whatever is cheaper” kinda gal ;) Recently it was Tide, but usually it’s Purex or All. I think it works the same, but I have always thought that. I have never noticed any stains that wouldn’t come out, but I also use a stain remover (the Tide one, actually) with clothes that do have hard stains.
And, YES to the coupons from P&G! If we lose ‘em, they will lose a lot of customers that’s for sure!
Kathy – I was ALWAYS a Tide user – and specifically a Tide Cold Water user as I wash most everything in cold. Well, when I got some CRAZY deals on Purex, I gave it a try, and we’re a convert now! We love it – it works and smells great and I still use cold water! You’ll love it!
Could not find the Purex coupon in th 1/10 RP insert. I am from Dayton, OH. Do the inserts have different coupons for the different regions? I even had a friend double check this for me to no avail.
You can get Free Bleach w/every 2 Purex Detergents you buy, too. YMMV.
I also got Pillsbury Brand Bisquits ( Reg $2.09 ) for 5 cents a piece, and the Bounty Paper Towels are normally $9.99 but come down to $3.19 if you got the Kroger coupons mailed to you. If not, you can use the $.25 off Q from the Sunday paper and get it for $4.19. Still good deal.
I did great with this sale.

It worked fine in Ohio yesterday for me. Did you go to customer service? I have had catalinas not print in the past, and went to the customer service desk. They just issued me a Kroger Gift Card with the balance on it instead.
If you already left the store, contact the Kroger customer service at https://customer.kroger.com/comments/comments.aspx or call them at 1-866-221-4141.
It should only take a few moments and they should be able to help you get your $4.

My problem with going to customer service is that I saw the deal here online, but I have no proof that there’s a catalina going on. What do I tell them if they ask where I heard such a thing?

If you want, I can scan the print out of the promotion that printed out last month with my coupons. Many of these promotions print out just like the catalinas and tell you ahead of time the terms/dates, etc. I always keep them for back up. Then, you could have it on hand or email it to them.

In your scenario, you have 2 bottles being $3.58 plus an additional $.60 off per bottle. Isn’t this discount already shown in the $3.58 /bottle?

Mary, the $3.58 total is 2 bottles minus the manufacturer coupons already, not the Instant Savings discount. Here’s the complete math:
$4.98 = $2.49*2 Bottles
MINUS $1.40 (2-$.35 coupons doubled)
MINUS $.60 (2-$.30 Instant Savings)
MINUS $4 Catalina
Grand Total: -$1.02 (Money-Maker)
