As I was shopping last night, I received a notification on an upcoming Meijer Catalina for Crystal Light. The details are:
Valid 3/1/10 – 3/21/10 | Crystal Light (Canisters or On The Go Boxes): Buy any 3 and receive a $2 Catalina; Buy any 4 and receive a $3 Catalina; Buy any 5 and receive a $4 Catalina.
After the ending of the Purex Catalina early, I am taking Money Saving Methods lead and will scan all Catalinas I receive from now on. The stores should honor the Catalina if they are ended early, as long as you have a scanned copy (I would think). You can find the scanned Crystal Light Catalina here in case you want it to keep in your coupon binder. If you want to send me any scanned images (or even mail them if that’s easier for you), I’ll keep my Catalina lists updated with images as well. It should help everyone out that way.
Also, during my Kroger shopping last night, there were several hang tags valid for $.5o on 2 Crystal Light On The Go Boxes (exp 12/31/2010). Hopefully we get another great sale at Meijer to stock up for the warm weather to come!

Ooh, I need to get ready for this sale. My son has kidney disease and is supposed to drink lots of lemonade to keep his citrate up. Ont the Gos are the way to go with a regular water bottle for him. Hard to get a 13 year old boy to manage anything too difficult.
if the manufacture decides to pull the offer of a cat……….i very much doubt the store will honor it even with a copy because they are not going to pick up the tab.
Chop, as I understand it, it wasn’t the manufacturer who necessarily ended it since some Kroger chains were still honoring the deal. I would think from a customer relations perspective, they would honor what the store has produced in writing – even if they have to bill the manufacturer for it. It makes them both look bad IMO.
Sorry if I am being dense here, just started “hard-core” couponing last month lol. What does having the scanned one do for you? I am kinda confused O_o
So is this just like an announcement that as of the 1st they WILL have a catalina? If so, how does having a scan help? :)
Fantacy, typically if you have the actual copy of the Catalina notification, the stores will honor the deal. There are times that the Catalina machine is just out of paper and it won’t print so they at least know that it was due to you. So, having the Catalina notification will help you if it doesn’t print at your store in which case you can talk to customer service about a resolution.
There are many times I only buy items because of a Catalina so if it doesn’t print (or ends early like the Purex deal) that impacts my purchase.
I had a similar situation with the purex deal where I didn’t get my catalina. I asked them if for future reference if I brought in a copy of the catalina deal if they honored it and they said yes. That as long as I had a copy to show the details and dates that they would take care of it.
Hi Andrea, I received notice today that Kroger is running this exact same Catalina! Crystal Light is on sale there for $2.99. I am not sure of the end dates of the sale but I know it goes well into March.
