Andrea, I was just wondering–when you refer to an issue of All You how do you determine the month? I was looking in my issue that says January 22 on it for the Hunt’s Ketchup B2G1 free coupon and it wasn’t there. I haven’t received any other All You’s this month yet so I just thought I’d ask.

Erika, it’s actually not on the front pages with the listing of coupons (I used it today, actually). There is a paper insert attached inside the magazine that has those coupons. I have three copies of this month’s issue and noticed that attached insert was only in the copy I received via subscription. So, I’m guessing it won’t be in there for mags purchased.

The Kraft cheese coupon apparently is no longer available. When I tried to print, it says it has reached its print limit.

The All You magazine I purchased at Walmart had the coupons, but the one my friend received in the mail did not. Maybe some made it into circulation without the Q’s. My friend is calling All You.

What zip code are you using for the Lance coupon?

Connie, I live in 45050 but can’t remember the last time I input my zip. And, I actually just looked and that coupon is now gone (or maybe it’s just gone for me since I already printed it).

Andrea – I don’t know how long you’ve been doing this, but I just noticed how you separated everything into categories like frozen, canned, etc. That is very helpful. Thank you!!!

Terri, I just started that. I plan to further categorize, but for now I wanted to at least separate it the way I shop (since that’s how I make my list). Glad you like it!

Did anyone else have a problem with the machines not doubling coupons? I went to the one over on Tylersville, and none of my Warm Delights, frosting or Halls coupons doubled. Guest services said it was because the coupons say do not double, but I’ve never had that happen before. I wouldn’t have bought the dessert stuff if I’d known I’d have to pay for it.

    • Andrea Deckard - January 14, 2010 @ 6:06 pm

Sariah, my best friend went today and had this VERY thing happen to her! They were doubling, but then the cashier stopped and stated that since the coupon said “Do Not Double” they weren’t going to double. However, the registers simply double them because that’s what they do. So, did yours just not double at all or did the cashier press a button for them not to double?

Wish Bone dressing printable is all gone now. No more prints available.

    same thing happened to me.

i did self-scan to make sure the #11 $1 item was free (and because i secretly want to be a checkout clerk!), knowing my coupons would cause problems (they always do at self-scan), i asked the attendant to scan them. she did that secret password to get to the blue screen, and some did not double when scanned. she said it was because they said “do not double” on the coupon, but some that said “do not double” doubled. not sure if there is a pattern as to which ones double and which ones didn’t. boo non-doubling coupons!

also, the mealbox coupons took off $0.00 when scanned but the total reduced by the correct dollar amount. something else to keep an eye on.

I also shopped yesterday and noticed 2 of my coupons didn’t double – the .60 off 6 Dannon yogurts. All the rest went fine. I was trying to figure if this was because w/ the Meijer Melbox it would have been “over the cost”, My math, buying 12 yogurts at .40 = $4.80 minus $3 MM ($1/4) = $1.80, so two .60 man q IF doubled would have been .20 over the cost ($2 off $1.80). It seems they should have “adjusted” it down (only .30 extra instead of .40), but I was at a self check and the guy was very busy and having difficulty getting it to allow it at all, so hope this was the reason. Paying .80 for 12 yogurt is still great, but if they stopped doubling any cpn that says “not subject to doubling”, their deals might not be as hot!! I don’t know if this cpn said that or not, but still suspect the register was trying to prevent “overage” which is fine, but need better way to adjust!! Did anyone else have trouble with finding Ronzoni or Quakes or $1. Steamers? OUT at the store I was at, I guess understandable.

  • Kathy - January 16, 2010 @ 10:05 am
    14

A note in regard to d’s comment: Meijer Mealbox never show at the bottom, you have to watch the total go down to know if they scanned right(really easy, right?!), because they are taken off up under the actual product price on the receipt, not under cpns at the bottom like man q’s there.

  • Paula - January 17, 2010 @ 9:30 am

    Kathy,
Meijers in Indiana only doubles up to .50 I have heard that other Meijers double up to .50 and takes any higher coupon up to $1 but that is not the case in Indiana for some reason. Since your coupon was for .60 my Meijers would not have doubled that coupon, but some stores would take it up to $1. Hope that helps.

  • Sariah - January 17, 2010 @ 10:28 pm
    16

Andrea – I ALWAYS do self-checkout at Meijer so that I can break my items up into however many multiple transactions that I need. So it was the computer that wasn’t doubling the coupons, and when I asked about it the cashiers said the coupons said, “Do Not Double” on them – but there were other “Do Not Double” coupons that doubled just fine.

It’s going to make me have to do a preemptive trip to see if my coupons are going to work. It was so ridiculous.
