I’m not, how do I put this, er… um… crafty! I tried knitting this past year and well I am here to tell you it is harder than it looks. I am still amazed at all of the knitting projects Mom Advice shares. My fave so far is the Republic Hat project. I saw a similar hat in a store selling for $40! She has mad skillz!
I couldn’t make a hat like that without a knitting tutor. Or, even have the patience and focus to take a picture a day and scrapbook my entire year like The Mom Creative. But, I can at least get supplies cheap if I ever have the desire, right??!!
Use this in-store Hobby Lobby coupon valid until 1/23 to get 40% off one regular priced item. Thanks, The Frugal Gals!
Or this coupon good for 50% off at Jo Ann Fabric & Craft Stores which expires 1/23. Thanks, Frugalissa Finds!
Trust me, if you see me out shopping with these coupons I won’t be going for more knitting needles. They really could be compared to weapons with their pointy ends!
You could do project 52 and take a picture a week! :)
Jess, that seems more doable for me! LOL
At Hobby Lobby, NEVER buy anything ceramic, glass, metal, wall decor, clocks, flowers, scrapbook stickers, or frames full price. they ALWAYS go on sale at least 50% off every other week. Also, in the Sunday papers Hobby Lobby will run their ads which typically contain a 40% off coupon. They also have a website where you can print them off or get coupons emailed to you. Michaels and Jo Ann Fabrics will take competitor coupons as well as offering their own.
I plan on using my 50% printables and store flyer Q’s to stock up on quality art supplies. My children really have taken to drawing and I think it’s time they have shades of pencils and some new journals to sketch/draw in. I want to foster their creativity at home as much as possible. Thanks for the reminder about the q!
