Natalie, I have never heard that. But, some stores do consider RR’s a manufacturer coupon. So, if Jewel takes competitor coupons, they may take them. Just ask your manager.

I was told that the register rewards can be used at Jewel. Is that true?

I asked the cashier about it and she called a manager over and he is the one that said that it didn’t print because of the coupons. I didn’t use a coupon on everything with a RR. I got the toothpaste and it didn’t print either. He took it off and then rang it up separately and it worked. We didn’t try the other two things though. I didn’t tell him but the other morning the RR printed off when I used coupons too. I said that it still worked for my friend. I found a number to call and we will see if they call me back tomorrow and say I can’t get them. If I don’t hear anything they will mail them to me. That could take 8 – 12 weeks though. I really like Walgreens but if it is going to take doing all this, then I will start shopping somewhere else.

Tasha, using coupons should not affect whether a RR will print. Your RR should have printed. Did you speak to a manager? Sometimes they will do something in situations like this to give you the value of the RR (either on a gift card or a credit on your order).

I went into Walgreens this morning and got several things. However my RR didn’t print out. I asked about it and they said it was because I had coupons too. I called the Marketing company and they are going to look into it. They can’t do it today because it was a transaction from today. Is there a certain way that they have to scan your products and coupons to get the coupons to work and also let the RR print??

Laura, that deal is currently active, but I’d say it’s a YMMV. I’ve read on other blogs and in the forums that it’s working for most people though. Let me know if you try it!

It appears the SuperBowl deal on Pepsi and Tostitos products (in the 1/17 ad scan) is running early. I want to try…I am a little nervous…but it’s worth the risk to get 4 24 packs of aquafina for $5.96.

I did the Bayer Glucose Meter deal yesterday (Fri)
Bought both the Breeze & the Contour-(one for me, one for hubby) $15. each , used 2 Qs for up to $30.00 and I got $13 in RRs, 0 OOP! Also no tax on diabetes supplies I learned from the sales lady.

Okay wondering if this would work for the bayer deal, i think it would. Could you purchase the Bayer Breeze 2 get a $5rr and purchase the Bayer Contour get $5 rr and then since you bought two Bayer get the $3 rr? This way you would make $13 assuming you have 2 $30 off Q’s.
