I heard this song when I got the new Selah CD ^[2]. I fell in love with it. It’s one of those songs that you just keep hitting repeat on over and over because the words melt into your heart and make you look ahead to the day when we will see God Almighty.

I also got to hear Christy Nockels ^[3] sing this at the Mops Convention. I fell in love with her version, which is different than Selah’s version (although Angie ^[4] mentioned that Selah was inspired by Christy’s version). Both version of the song are on my ipod. I know that may sound crazy, but I hear something different when I listen to both.

And, neither one of those versions were in a good enough audio version on YouTube for me to share, so I’m sharing a version by Hillsong, which is also amazing. Which really proves it’s not necessarily the artist, it’s the meaning and words that go into to it. I love the part “Break my Heart from what breaks yours.” That part always gets me raising my hand, whether it’s in the car on a plane or in the gym. Hosanna in the highest – Amen!
