Your eligable dollar amount is figured after your 15% coupon (or 20 or 30 for cardholders) comes off of the subtotal. I am a Kohl's associate, and find that many customers do not understand this at check out time. There has been a $10 off $10 coupon in circulation. They do state that you are supposed to use a Kohl's charge with the coupon, but the minimum requirement is only $10 so I'm not sure what you are supposed to be charging if you only spend $10.
