Why we’re on the subject of shopping bag credits, Target has jumped on board too!
According to this USA Today report, Target will offer $.05 for every reusable bags a customer uses. Nice! In the course of a year, if you use a resusable bag for each purchase at every store, this can add up! No, it’s not going to make you a millionaire, but you will be reducing waste and have a few extra dollars to show for it!
I like the little shopping bags that fold up into a pouch. I actually have the Target one above. I also am making a fun thing of each place I visit: I purchase a reusable shopping bag. When I went on the Disney Trip in February, I brought home a Mickey bag! Now, that’s not a bag everyone will have :) It’s a environmental souvenir!
Do you use reusable shopping bags? Do you have a favorite bag? Most of the FREE ones are my faves too!
I love the huge one I got from purchasing boots at Steve Madden. It’s bigger than most and it’s bright purple.
I use my Walgreens bags all the time. I have a great bag from Schnucks – it’s pink and very sturdy and kind of insulated. I also have great bags from ChiChi’s, Rachel Ray and a few other kinds.
I sugest using smaller bags. not only because of the weight factor of each bags but because you get .05 for each bag. Now i’m not saying use little bags but med. sizes. Plus the large bags (like I said) would be too heavy. Jist a little tip! Happy shopping everyone!
