Hi! I wanted some advice on a frustrating experience that I have had at two separate Kroger stores in the Dayton area. It seems that they will not accept printable coupons if they won’t scan the first time.

I worked hard on getting my coupons together today for the mega sale. I had about 7 printable coupons today for my first transaction that would not scan. The cashier told me she was not allowed to punch in the bar code numbers if they did not scan. Is this legit?

I would think they would want my money! I had them take everything off my order and went back to just get a couple of things. The second time through, I checked out at the self-checkout. The cashier had to scan in one of the very same printable coupons that I tried to use moments before. Do you know if this is really Kroger’s policy or is this just a matter of cashiers being frustrated?

The Advil PM is NOT on sale for $2.99 it’s on sale for $4.99 and is part of the Mega Sale. So with the discount comes to $4.49 minus whatever coupon is used.

The regular Advil IS on sale for $2.99 however.

Did the $2 off ALL coupon work for you? Coupon says for 96 load bottle which is NOT the sale bottle. Just wondering.

Dole mandarin oranges are $0.50 per can after sale. I bought 10 and got 3 $0.50 OYNO catalinas. It makes them $0.35 a can.

i believe this was one of my best trips to krogers yet!! total before coupons was $135+ after coupons only a whopping $13.76 wow my cart was full!! long trip short over 74 items!!!

When MegaSales come up, my Kroger (Beckett Ridge in West Chester) always has a display board at the front of the store that list all the participating products, including ones not printed in the ad. It doesn’t include prices, but it’s still really useful for figuring out what’s included.

Also interesting is this time the flyer does not list dates for the sale, the previous ones all have. Not sure if this is the standard 2 weeks or if it’s shorter or longer.

There are a LOT of unadvertised items in the brochure – Sunny D, Oreo Cakesters, RedBull & Monster energy drinks, Simply OJ, Gorton’s Seafood, etc. Just a heads up

There are also Shortcut coupons for the Chex Mix, making them FREE (I had loaded 4 on my Kroger card). I spent $21 and saved $133 here!! Thanks, Andrea!! Julie @ KingdomKlipper

I think the catalina deal for the nestle/wonka ended on 10/25. I bought some today and didn’t get the cat, when I checked around I found out it is over!

I just got back from krogers and my catalina did not print for buying 6 bags of the candy that was mentioned. I stopped by the courtesy booth and he just handed me $3.00. That made my day, because I hate when I follow everything mentioned and things don’t seem to work out.

Just curious: Does Kroger offer the “Senior Discount Day” in your area? If so, which day and how much is the discount?

Here in Central Arkansas, it’s 5% every Tuesday.

I went to Kroger tonight. There are a lot of other items included in the Mega Sale that I did not see in the ad. AND…. most have coupons to match.
Here are just a few:
Gogurts (look for peelies too)
Pillsbury cookies (simply and others)
I Can’t believe its not butter
Birds eye Meals
Birds eye steamers
Betty Crocker Boxed Potato
Air wick refills

I spent 64 dollars but saved 150 (70%). Yeah Me!!

The Pineapple is on sale this week for $1.77. My store changes ads on Wednesday. So if yours is the same you would be better off buying the Pineapple now before Wednesday. We bought one today and it is so sweet.
