I’m sure you have heard of Box Tops for Education ^[1]. Many products have the little Box Tops Coupons you cut out/off of the product (a complete list of items that contain Box Tops Coupons can be found here ^[2]). Our school participates in this program – in fact, over 90,000 schools participate. It’s a great way to help your school earn money since each Box Tops Coupons is worth $.10.

While I have only donated the Box Tops Coupons to our school, you can actually earn money for your school in three different ways:

• Clip the Box Tops Coupons and send them in to the school.
• Shop online at the Box Tops Marketplace and a percentage of your purchase goes to the school.
• Purchase books from Barnes & Noble through the Box Tops Reading Room and your school earns 6% of your purchase.

You will need an account if you start to earn using the Box Tops Marketplace and Box Tops Reading Room. Even if you don’t use the online earning methods, a benefit to registering is that you can see your school’s goals and progress for the year since you are asked to designate your school.

I’m sure you’ve also noticed this too, but ^[3]Box Tops for Education ^[1]offers online printable coupons!!! I always include these in my store snacks so I appreciate this additional benefit – we save money and help our school earn money!

They also have sweepstakes for a chance to win your school Bonus Box Tops. I figure, if I’m online and stopping by to do my weekly coupon printing, I can take a few seconds to enter for my school’s chance to win!

I believe every little bit helps and if you clip the Box Tops Coupons , it really doesn’t take any time to do. It seems like the Box Tops Coupons are on everything, doesn’t it?

In my shopping trip here ^[4], I estimated about $3 in Box Tops Coupons- that was just one week. If I average that amount at least half of the time I shop (half being 26 times a year), that is $78 for the year just from our family! If everyone in a participating school sends that amount in, well…you do the math based on your school :-)
