by Savings Lifestyle: Andrea on May 01, 2009

This giveaway has ended. The winner will be contacted directly. Thank you for entering!

pepsi-throwback-giveaway

Ooh, that rhymes too :)

Pepsi is taking us back to the day where it was jive to have those rad colors mixed in one outfit! And, give you natural sugar in your beverage of choice with Pepsi and Mountain Dew. I never realized they changed up sweeteners but apparently in the 60′s and 70′s, they only sweetened their soda with natural sugar. Maybe that’s why everyone *saw* things :)

For 8 weeks (starting April 20), you can get your very own throwback packs of Pepsi or Mountain Dew at retailers. The groovy colors will be available in the singe-serve bottle and 12-pack cans. You can also check out the Pepsi Throwback Hub to get groovy background wallpaper for your blogs or your desktop. Now, I just need to get the word *groovy* out of my head!

For one person I have a Pepsi Throwback Pack, valued at $150. This awesome prize includes:

  • Pepsi Throwback Trucker Cap
  • Retro Pepsi Tin Lunch Box
  • Retro Clock Radio/CD Player
  • USB Lava Lamp
  • Pepsi Throwback & Mountain Dew Throwback

To enter in this giveaway, you have 3 forms of entry, which are:

Leave me a comment and tell me what your favorite 60′s or 70′s word is. You see I’ve been saying groovy, but I am particularly partial to DUDE. And, it has to be written in all caps to give the full effect :)

Tweet about this giveaway on Twitter. Come back after you tweeted and leave me a comment in this post.

Subscribe to my feed here or daily email update here. Leave a separate comment to inform me that you have subscribed. And, of course, if you already subscribe definitely leave a comment for that too!

Good luck! I will be closing this giveaway on Monday @ 8p. I will choose the winner at random and contact you directly.

* If you are reading via email or a feed, please visit Mommy Snacks.net directly to leave your comments to be entered in the giveaway!

I would have to say “Dude” is one of my favorites and one my husband uses quite a bit. Since we have girls, he calls them dude-ettes.
When we bought our last house, the kids that lived there must have grown up in the 60′s/70′s era. The basement walls were spray painted with peace signs and flowers in flourescent colors and “Flower Power” was written all over.
