Giving Back: P&G Coupons

by Savings Lifestyle: Andrea on November 13, 2008

I just saw this in the P&G Insert from November 2. For each coupon you redeem from this specifc insert, P&G will donate one meal to a person in need. How cool is that??!!

Proctor and Gamble has partnered with Feeding America, formerly known as America’s Second Harvest. Feeding America, “provides assistance to more than 25 million people in need, secures and distributes more than 2 billion pounds of donated food and grocery products, and supports feeding programs at approximately 63,000 local charitable agencies.”

I shared information on America’s Second Harvest/Feeding America in my food banks snack here. There are links in that snack to find food banks in your area too!!

Did P&G realize how many meals I will ensure they donate just due to my couponing? Um, a lot! And, multiply that by all of us and there’s more meals going to folks who need them!

Amen :-)

Teryn – thanks for that info! I saw this earlier today but was so busy to post…and I couldn’t figure out how to get the credit to show up in my account either since I was already a member.
