OK, this past month has just been a major bummer with exercise…and eating! I think I need to get inspierd somehow and the scale was what I needed!!! I gained two pounds.
Seriously, it was just a matter of time before the results of lack of exercise and poor eating showed on the scale. So, there it is! I am disappointed because I want my weight to go in the other direction, which makes me think of this…
What does it take for you to get inspired?
Seriously, I want your thoughts and tips! I need to get on the treadmill and run but I’m just not inspired. But, when I first started this journey at the beginning of the year, I wasn’t inspired to be on the treadmill – I was inspired and motivated to lose weight! I have results from all my hard work that I am NOT willing to gain back! I know these last 10 pounds will be hard but…well, just give me some tips please?
And, while you’re at it let me know how you’re doing! I love to hear your progress! That is motivation for me!
Fat Burnin’ Pounds Lost since Jan 1-08: 30
Fat Burnin’ Pounds to go: 10
Remember that the holiday eating season is just around the corner and you’ll want to be looking your best for those events (especiall if the people haven’t seen you in a while!). And exercising more now will help offset any weight gain that happens when all those tasty, fattening foods are around at parties!
Actually, know what else really helps me? Reading fitness blogs! My friend turned me on to http://ohsheglows.com/ and I love it! I also read some of the blogs she has listed. But really, that is what really encourages me!
Wow, 30 lbs. lost already? You’re way ahead of me! I need to lose about 35-40 and so far have lost 10. Yay, I’m doing the happy dance :) I started late July I think… Anyways, I print off graph paper, and keep a graph of my weight EVERY DAY. I just color in one little square. I have the dates marked across the top and the lbs. marked down the side (the paper is “horizontal”. I use a red marker for weight gain, and green marker for weight loss. And if I gain weight, it stays red until I’m back down to my last green block, then I go green again. That way I don’t think I’m “losing” weight… I’m just getting back to where I was. It’s pretty motivating. I have it on the side of my frige. I know my weight flucutates from day to day, and some people don’t like to weigh every day, but if I don’t I would probably eat way too many bad things! Motivation to exercise… eeehhh, since it got too cold for me to do it outside (athsma), I “do” my DVD, but I haven’t for several days. I need to get back on it. Get those 10 lbs off!! You could get 5 off by Christmas, I know!
