Well, this week was a quiet week at the grocery stores, but I managed to find a few deals worth stockpiling! Take a look at all the deals I laid out on my kitchen floors that are in-process of becoming nice and tiled (for super cheap!):
Total OOP: $4.30
Total Savings: $19.80
Sorry for not unwrapping my toilet paper from the bags. I just didn’t see that as super efficient, so I just made a toilet paper tower with the few other things I picked up! The cottonelle is an everyday price of $.99 at Kroger. Those $.50 coupons in the paper last weekened doubled making it, you got it…FREE!
Meijer
Total OOP: $41.56
Total Savings: $101.40
I finally did the Kellogg’s deal! So, not only did I only pay $5 for that back pack (since you get a $10 credit off a backpack when you purchase $10 in Kellogg’s products) BUT I’ll be sending in my Kellogg’s rebate to get $10 back! And, I’ll also be sending in for the Blueberry Muffin Frosted Mini-Wheats cereal rebate too. Hopefully a copy of my receipt will be acceptable since I forgot to ask for a duplicate. That’s what happens when you shop with a little one :-)
And, there are a few Catalina promotions I got in on too! I received a $1 Catalina to use on my next order for purchasing Pillsbury products. I only purchased 4 Grands! Biscuits so I’m not sure if that’s the trigger for it to print. I’ve read at HCW that others are getting these by making the same purchase. I also received a Catalina for 120 Bonux Box Tops, which is equal to $12 when turned into our school along with our Box Tops. You must purchase 15 box tops products to get this one. SWEET!
Sam’s Club
Total OOP: $57.34
Of course, there’s never savings at Sam’s since it’s a warehouse. I will admit, even my frugalness didn’t get the cheapest deal on paper towels. I could have gone to CVS and acquired 16 rolls for $13 and get $2 ECB’s back. But, ya live and learn…and realize, you can’t always get every deal!
My total OOP was $16.68 for baby formula and some soy milk. Since Andon is allergic to milk, he’s still on formula. I thought I would go ahead and try soy milk to see if he liked it since it’s cheaper. I don’t think Andon likes this experiment so we’ll be keeping him on the formula until his allergy changes :-)
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Grand Total: $119.88
Grand Total Savings: $128.18
My total was higher because of our Sam’s purchase. Otherwise, I would have been good and making my budget of $100 this week. Hopefully you were able to stay on your budget this week and still score some super amazing deals! If ya want to see all the weekly matches of Kroger and Meijer (and my absent CVS and Walgreens), be sure to check out my weekly Snack Summary!
I always share all my savings around the blogosphere with some other super savin’ ladies: MoneySavingMom, BeCentsAble (Show and Tell) and the “Cent”sible Sawyer (CVS Superstars and Drugstore Divas). Be sure to visit their links to see how others made out this shopping week too!! It’s always fun to see other frugalistas doin’ their thing!!!
that is a lot of toilet paper! I wish my inserts had the coupons for it!
Just out of curiosity, how did you get so many Cottonelle coupons? Did you buy multiple papers or go through something like eBay (I got outbid!).
If you did purchase them (or someone’s time!), how much were they?
Thanks in advance!
FGD
That’s quite impressive that you got so much toilet paper. My Kroger only doubles the first coupon… I’d have to wait in line 100 times!! :)
FGD – I purchased mine through one of my favorite seller/clipping services on ebay (kkswigs). She had buy it now auctions of 10 for $1 each. Her policy is if you buy at least $3 from her, she’ll ship free so I got 30 coupons for $3.
There were several other auctions on them but I think some of the sellers are getting wise to our freebies so some of the good q’s go to regular auction or have higher buy it now prices!
Kama – I am extremely grateful our Kroger doubles our coupons. But, I’d still wait in line at least a few times to get something FREE :-)
Hi Andrea,
I’m new to all of this couponing strategy ;-) How can I find that coupon seller on ebay? Thanks!
Florimar, here’s a post I wrote about getting additional coupons through clipping services and ebay:

Somehow I missed this deal last week but I was looking over your post last night and lucked out and got some free tp today and I bought some cheap kleenex. I have to drive a little to get to a kroger so I haven’t been going often. I think I’ll have to start again with these good deals going on.
