Word of Mouth Marketing | Vocalpoint

I realized I hadn't shared about Vocalpoint yet – and getting to participate in one of their focus groups reminded me to share.Vocalpoint is another online community I joined last year.

Vocalpoint is sponsored by Proctor & Gamble but the products aren't just P&G products. P&G runs the “word of mouth marketing” for several companies through Vocalpoint. Actually, it's a lot like being a Bzzz Agent. The major difference is that with Vocalpoint you don't have to do reports and stuff – the reward is essentially getting you to try the new products in hopes you will share it will all your friends (and possibly purchase them in the future, which I have thanks to their promotions)!

I recently received coupons for Special K bars. They are doing a Special K “Klub 32 – 32 Ways to Stay on Track” so it's one more way they want us to help them achieve better marketing for Special K products (and the coupons are a great value for $1 off).

I have also received Welch's grape juice coupons valued at $2 each. And, I've received tons of FREE product coupons to try out new stuff. Sometimes you'll be ask to complete a survey, or you can share your opinions in the community message boards – other times nothing. But, FREE coupons…I'm IN!

They also have various focus groups, which is what prompted me to snack on this in the first place. I've received several focus group screeners and was never accepted until this past week. I got to participate in my first focus group – yeah!!! It was pretty cool just to go discuss the topic with other Vocalpoint members.
