This week was a stockpile week for me! I didn’t have a whole of needs items to get so I was able to stay on budget – woo hoo!! You can see all the coupon matches I’ve done this week in my Snack Summary here ^[1]. On to the savings:

I used up all my Powerade coupons I purchased a while ago to get these for FREE. And, the wipes were OK since I had a little overage to spend!

Here’s the great thing about how God provides! Last year when Target had the Huggies wipes deal going on, I stocked up majorly. Well, I just ran out of wipes (I even bought some at CVS before this deal) so this week Kroger had the P&G Deal going on and it included wipes but they left it out of the ad (why do they do this?). So, when I read about this, I scurried to buy some extra coupons on ebay so I can get my stockpile of wipes on again (this pic just includes the q’s I had been given from my friends)! I also got some more fabric softener too so I am just replenishing my stock – Downy is just the best!

Total Savings: $68.15 (used $8 in Planters Catalinas)

I sure did take advantage of the Planters nut catalina deal ^[5] (thanks again, Lavonne ^[6]!). So, my OOP was low because I did two Planters transactions before my final big transaction and got $8 off. I also have another catalina to use for my next Meijer trip! And, thanks to cincymom Pancake’s tip on the Malt-O-Meal Cereals being B2G2 FREE, I got some more FREE cereal!

The other thing I have to share is that on my final transaction, the cashier scanned my Planters coupon and it only took $1.25 off, we were confused so she scanned them again and took the full $3 off for each product. Well, I got to the car and inspected my receipt and the Planters were $1.25 (thanks to cincymom Beckers tip on this one :-). So, when she scanned the $3 q’s, they were in excess of what I bought. I couldn’t live with this mistake, so I marched back in there with 3 kids in tow and paid them the $9 (since I had 3 q’s). The customer service gal said the cashier asked her about it, but they just dismissed it. I don’t know about you, but I couldn’t live with my conscience on that one – God speaks to me when I’m couponing too (and why wouldn’t he?!!).

I do plan on going back to Kroger Saturday when my Pampers wipes coupons get here to stock up on more wipes (and possibly more Downy). Since P&G is raising their prices 16% this fall ^[7], stockpiling will be even more essential to maintain the lifestyle we have! 7/14 ETA: I did hit Kroger again and paid $12.81 for 15 more boxes of wipes and 3 gerber graduates meals. I saved a total of $31.57. I’ve updated my Weekly Grand Total/Savings to reflect the new number!
