Diet & Fitness Snack: Fat Burnin’ Friday

OK, so last week was a good week – HOORAY!!! I lost two pounds. I was kind of scared though because we took my GF, Angie, to dinner on Tuesday to celebrate her birthday. Her fave place is Red Lobster and, well, they have the best biscuits, don’t they?!! While Angie, Amber, and Sue all did great with their dinner selection, I professed my lack of caring about what I ate so I got a large meal PLUS I ate 3 biscuits. And, then I came home and had about 6-8 (it’s a little fuzzy after #3, honestly) Snickers ice cream bars. I thought for sure I had blown it! But, I stepped on the scales and it was two pounds lighter – Woot Woot :-)

There really is no tip this week, other than you can clearly see what I did (which is definitely not right for everyone) didn’t hurt me. I chalk that up to doing really good every other day and having one day to cave to your cravings! But, I did step up my exercise and even added an extra day. I feel good about the progress and am ecstatic that I have 11 more pounds until I hit my goal in 5 weeks (and that dreaded day we won’t be talkin’ about!).

It’s not too late to join me in this goal. Mine is specifically to reach my goal in 5 weeks. It will require a lot of willpower and motivation, especially since we’re going on vacation next Friday! What happens on vacation, stays on vacation, right?? Yeah, right, until you bring back an extra 5 pounds and the pile of dirty laundry!! :-)

    Snickers Ice Cream bars – you had to mention them!?!

    Good job though ~ 2 lbs is great. My legs still hurt from my treadmill.

    Way to go!! I’m super excited for you. Only 11 pounds to go until you get to weight loss goal. That is awesome!

    My weight loss and fitness goals haven’t so “Hooray!” lately. I am going to turn things around and get this weight off for good.

    The biscuits were soooo yummy!!
    I won’t be having any of those for a very long time :(
