Diet & Fitness Snack: Fat Burnin’ Friday

I know you’re all probably on the edge of your seats waiting to hear about my week’s fat-loss success, right? HA!

I am happy to report that I have lost 1 pound this week. I did pretty good with my eating – could have done better, and was really disciplined on exercise so I did work to get that weight loss :-) I’m anticipating a higher weight loss next week because I had some really good exercise in this week (crossing my fingers, toes, eyes, what else??). It has been a beautiful week here and I was able to go outside for a run/walk – I couldn’t run outside last fall so I was super pumped to be able to actually run on the concrete and maintain. I also visited the Y with my friend, Lisa, and had a butt-burnin’ workout (seriously, my butt HURT). So, this amazing week of exercise leads me to this…

Mix it up!

I am still challenged each day when I work out and alternate with running/walking intervals. But, this week has really challenged my overall fitness and will require that I push a little more going forward! I seriously had a hard time walking after Tuesday’s marathon workout! I did tell Lisa that I wanted to be sore – since I wanted to get my money’s worth and all :-) And, boy was I (and still kind of am)! But, it’s a good sore like you know you’re gonna have a tight badunkadunk when it’s all said and done! I will admit, when we were leaving the Y, Lisa’s son said he wanted pizza and that made me want pizza…and fries, and chocolate..and anything that wasn’t good for me! I’m glad she was there to bring me out of the fog I had got lost in for a second :-)

    Hey There!

    I’m reading several of your posts and thought I’d comment on this one. (Probably because I REALLY want to lose weight myself) O;-)

    CONGRATS on your success! You’ve motivated me… maybe I REALLY WILL stick to my diet today??? I HOPE SO! =-)

    Tonya – you’re so sweet! I think writing about it holds me more accountable because there are definitely days I want to eat a whole box of ding dongs (and have come very close to it too!). Good Luck!!!
