First off, let me first say that I heard about this company through very cryptic messages people posted on message boards. I didn’t sign up until someone finally actually named the company and explained what they were all about. I felt the need to do the same for you too. There really are no strings attached!
There is a new company called Revolution Money Exchange which is very similar to paypal but doesn’t charge you to receive, send, or request money (UNLESS you request a hard copy check, than the fee is $2.50) from people. I’m sharing this info primarily because they are offering a $25 sign-up bonus if you complete the registration before March 31 (RME extended this offer). YES, it’s legit, you get $25 in your account as soon your sign-up. Once you verify your bank account info, you can send it to your bank FREE of charge. I have gone through all the steps and received my $25 in my account today (2/19). So, it took 7 days total to initiate, verify, and get the money in my account.
Like all the stuff I talk about, before I signed up I did my own research and found out more info on them (to ensure they were legitimate). To sum it up, they are AOL’s version of paypal basically. RME’s online monies are held through First Bank & Trust, which is FDIC insured (if you keep money in there, that’s important to know). They do not charge fees for sending money accepting money from people. If you’ve sold through ebay, you know that paypal eats up some of your profit too. If you want to send a payment to someone, all you need to know is their email address and the payment request will be emailed to them. If they don’t have an account, they can create one easily and accept the money you sent!
Again, my main reason for writing on this is because of the $25 sign-up bonus. But, the more I’m talking about it, once they are out of their BETA phase, I’m going to start checking my ebay buyers to see if they’ll accept this form of payment and maybe get a few cents knocked off the price. It’s worth a shot! (Even though ebay owns paypal..we’ll see if it happens)
They are currently offering a $10 referral bonus for referring people. If you are interested in signing up to get your $25 sign-up bonus, please email me at ardeckard at yahoo and I will forward you the referral email. Please include the email address you will use to create your account. You can then send it to all your friends to get your referral credit too!
Update 3/20 : I don’t need to send a referral email anymore, just click on the button above (or the button on my side bar) and you can sign-up for your own FREE $25! And, it’s been extended through April 15 so you still have more time to take advantage of the dealio!!
Update 4/16: The FREE $25 has been extended again until May 15. Just click on the button above to get yours too!
Update 6/2: I’m not sure when this promotion will end! The FREE $25 seems to be going on still. There doesn’t appear to be an end date listed on the company’s website so it’s worth a shot to sign-up and still get your FREE $25!!

This is a GREAT service. I have also signed up, and I would recommend it to all your readers. First, it is FREE $25 sent directly to your account. Second, it is a great service to transfer money and NOT be charged fees like paypal! Thanks for spreading the word.
Carrie – thanks for your comment! I couldn’t agree more!!
